Dr Matthew Adler graduated from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in 1996 during which time he also gained honours in an intercalated BSc degree in Immunology. After junior posts in general medical specialties at Northwick Park Hospital he commenced 5 years of specialist training in Rheumatology and General Internal Medicine in London.
Dr Adler works as a full-time NHS Consultant Rheumatologist at Wexham Park Hospital in East Berkshire where he also practices general medicine and is actively involved in the provision of acute care cover. He treats all aspects of rheumatic disease and has a particular interest in inflammatory arthritis, gout, connective tissue disorders and osteoporosis. Dr Adler works closely with orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, specialist hand therapists and podiatrists.
